Spring brings the season where the sprouts of art and innovation across this unique city are celebrated with Amsterdam Art Week! During this occasion ISO will open its doors with GOODNIGHT for AAW2025 on May 24th. Occurring as a part of the West Day & Night initiative, ISO invites you to join the around the clock community gathering highlighting its residents and the thriving art scene of Sloterdijk.
GOODNIGHT builds on previous iterations of our collaboration with Amsterdam Art Week (AAW), kicking off with a day of Open Studios from 17:00 onwards. The day will showcase the bountiful creativity and talent that resides at our lively warehouse space, inviting curious minds to pop in to meet the artists and become acquainted with their practices. Throughout the event ISO resident’s Sophia Bulgakova’s site-specific installation Inevitably Blue will be on view, providing a sublime interactive encounter for visitors where they can levitate in the landscape of shifting sensory experiences of colour. This exploratory ground will continue into the night with the official AAW2025 Official Afterparty! Integrating a touch of our ongoing Live Art Series into the AAW programme, we begin the night with an audiovisual performance by Sondi. Music and dancing will follow with DJ sets by BARROSKINI (with live visuals by Sondi), DIORA, Krai and Tyrrfon. So come early and stay late for a vibrant celebration of sound, light and movement that will continue into the early hours!
